Last to do at The Natural Bridge site is visit the Butterfly House. My girls loved this, and these fairy creatures loved them! Look how the flocked to our hair and shirts. Funny.

Yankee Tour - Boston, Philly, NY

June 24 - Day 2. Virginia. (Driving to the funeral.) Stopped off at "The Natural Bridge" between Lexington and Roanoke. Just off Hwy 81.

This natural land phenomenon was carved by moving water. The arch is 275 feet tall and spans 90 feet. The land was once owned by Thomas Jefferson. In the 1800s THIS and Niagara Falls were the 2 top visited tourist scenes in the U.S. So it was pretty popular at one time.

Also, George Washington carved his initials here when he was a young boy (barely visible today.) What a neat, shady walk.

RV trip to New England

Ok so not a great start for our summer 2013 RV tour. Popped tire 1 hour out.

Luckily we found this mom and pop place and they got us fixed up pretty quick. First stop, Charlottesville, where sadly we will be attending Robert's mom's funeral.
