July 20, 2011 - Spectacular Mt. Zion National Park, UT

Drove 3 hours from Vegas to Mt. Zion National Park in southern Utah.
The scenery is spectacular and surprising since there is some delicate
greenery here such as grass and ferns.

Zion a park since 19. Founded by Mormons, named quiet sanctuary.

Gorgeous canyon red rock rising above. Like the Grand Canyon, carved
by a small river over millions of years.
