Busy week, busy summer, finally on the road! Our third 3 week summer tour. This trip is all about route 66 and headed to the west coast. To do this, we have to lay down the miles. Day 1 and 2 Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico. Toured Petrified Forest, drove thru Painted Desert. Stopped for the Park movie and info. Katie and BB working on their goal of 10 more junior ranger badges, first started in 2009. Grocery shopped in Winslow, Arizona. Such a fine sight to see. Made it to Grand Canyon late Day 2. National Park Campground. Big sites, wooded grounds. No frills. Nice temps, zero humidity. The tooth fairy visited last nite since Abigail (aka Snaggle Tooth) lost another one.
